Spencer is an Actor, Director and all around Theatre Artist. Spencer holds a BA in Theatre and BA in Cinema and Screen Studies from SUNY Oswego. He studied at the Moscow Art Theatre for an acting intensive. Spencer founded a production company in Philadelphia, Sewer Rats Productions, through which he had provided creative support for independent artists as well as produced a variety of projects. An avid writer, Spencer worked for the Philadelphia Dramatists Center in a dramaturgical capacity as a moderator for their bi-weekly meetings and later served as Vice President. Spencer is also a member of the Dramatist Guild. The Arts play a crucial role in our culture and our development as a species. It is important that we create art that inspires an empathetic view on all aspects of humanity. Every perspective has value. The sooner we are able to provide a platform and support for each one to be explored and expressed, the sooner we as a people will evolve in a positive direction. |
